Burning Sadness by Nishtha Moudgil

Updated: Feb 2

Art by France Daffon

Nishtha Moudgil is a poet and a Psychology student from Delhi. The following poem is about how sadness is sometimes seen as a negative emotion but in reality, it isn't and one should embrace sadness for the growth.

Someday, this sadness and confusion

will make sense,

but right now

it is needed for your

growth

desires

growth

and you;

let it burn

let it stay and teach you

till you’re a living

art.
